If you find that stocks are stopping you out and reversing higher, this means one thing.

You need to work on your entry.

The entry is the foundation of the entire trade, if you don’t get it right the rest of the trade will be very difficult to manage and you’ll consistently watch stocks reverse higher after stopping you out.

It’s not a cliche joke to say “the time you should be buying is usually when you don’t want to.”

Usually the best entries are on pullbacks towards key moving averages or support areas. Psychologically it feels easier to buy the rip and sell the dip because there’s “uncertainty” when a stock is going down.

That uncertainty is actually an edge if the stock is consolidating, on a key moving average, or on a previous support or resistance turned support zone.

A good and disciplined entry changes the entire trajectory of the trade. Be precise on the entry and the rest of the trade should be much easier to manage.
