You see, what Ben is trying to do here is mislead people into thinking the Governor is not funding efforts to combat homelessness.

That’s obviously false. There’s $XXX million allocated in funding in this year’s budget and cities can expect to receive $760M this year. Add that to the $XXX billion since HHAP was created & the $X billion in unobligated funds locals are sitting on right now.

What Ben won’t tell you is that the Governor is demanding accountability, transparency, and real results when it comes to this specific program — which has been providing funding to counties since 2019 — so Californians see the results from their local officials they are rightfully asking for. And it's working:
