I’m not sure about the Waymo thing. 

The whole phenomenon of private vehicle ownership is a case study in option-value. 

Lots of people own cars for options they rarely exercise. Like a camping trip, or visit to the now.

I’m not sure ownership will plummet. 

But I agree with the conclusion that those assumptions on AEMO’s part are definitely still ridiculous!
