Regarding the first point, the current demand of President Trump is to stop the enrichment of uranium (which has stopped now due to the recent bombing) -> Not the dismantling of the nuclear reactors.

Enrichment has now stopped and can indeed be restarted at anytime on the basis of Article IV of the NPT which affirms the "inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop, research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes”

Iran has made a clear point of not willing to give up their right to enrich but they have not clearly said that they will start enriching again. Thus, if the IAEA is able to monitor the situation, sanctions imposed due to the nuclear programme should be paused. They can import enriched uranium from Russia for their reactors.

Otherwise, a possible option would be if Israel and the U.S. would offer a guarantee on no strikes on Iranian territory IF Iran would immediately enter direct negotiations.

Regarding the influence of Iran on third parties, I believe that since in that case we are speaking of an informal power, it would be hard to make Iran give guarantees on entities that it does not directly control.

Thus, I truly believe that the better option would be to convince Iran of recognising Israel in return for Palestinian territorial integrity in a legally recognised form by Israel. A demand that is also shared by the EU and individual EU countries, if we leave out the UN in this conversation. A two state solution within one country is my personal proposal to solve this conflict, but that is just an idea.

Perhaps a referendum in Israel and Palestine could solve this.

I have a very strong feeling that Iran is interested in getting out of this dark relationship with Israel for a multitude of reasons.

However, if Israel continues to push for the overthrow of the Iranian government, there will be devastating consequences on a global scale. This must be avoided.

Negotiations and diplomacy should become the road ahead instead of warfare.

If Russia, Pakistan and China build a defence treaty with Iran and other countries, or the Islamic countries including Pakistan do, the entirety of the global world order will be recalculated. At the same time, BRICS would kill SWIFT… + USD

Is the west really ready to take that risk built on the basis of clear violations of international law? History tells me no.
