It would be disappointing if Manchester United didn't start the season with a new striker. Cunha & Mbeumo will help address the goal issue & hopefully Joshua Zirkzee is at XXX% fitness, but it is still a problem.

Ollie Watkins & Benjamin Šeško are the two most prominent links, but considering that Aston Villa & RB Leipzig both need to sell players for financial reasons, sounds like United might be playing a long game.

A goalkeeper is required ASAP so perhaps priorities are being reordered, Senne Lammens seems more likely than not to be that player. A midfielder is badly required, but we still don't know anything about that.

Progress is needed on the sales of Sancho, Garnacho, Antony & likely Rasmus Højlund to unlock the rest of the summer signings. XXX weeks to figure it all out.
