✦ Uncertainty surrounds crypto and CBDC legislation as US Congress approaches recess:

As Congress prepares for its upcoming recess, lawmakers still have key issues to resolve, particularly two significant crypto bills that have recently passed the House. Last week, bipartisan support allowed three crypto-related bills to advance, including the GUIDING and ESTABLISHING NATIONAL INNOVATION FOR US STABLECOINS (GENIUS) Act, which regulates payment stablecoins and was signed into law by President Trump. The other two bills, the DIGITAL ASSET MARKET CLARITY (CLARITY) Act and the ANTI-CBDC SURVEILLANCE STATE Act, are set to be reviewed by the Senate.
