Marcus Rashford's full answer was over a minute long, it can be misconstrued or taken out of context if represented like this. That is the problem with pulling the juiciest part of the quote instead of using the whole thing for context.

“You know, the situation with United is the club is in a period of change & they have been for a while. So, you know, I don't have anything bad to say about Manchester United. I think it's been an important part of not only my career but just my life, you know.

So I'm grateful for the opportunity to play for them. But you know, football is the same as life and not everything, you know, goes as simple as, as you may have thought. And yeah, this is my next step, my next chapter and I'm fully focused on this and trying to improve myself and help the team win trophies.
