Now more-so tactically:

When you think about his ball-striking and capacity for unpredictable/spectacular goals in itself, then coupled with all the box-crashing opportunities he will get.

He should absolutely be scoring 10+ league goals. 

Especially now he’s not going to be the focal point of the attack & will have less attention on him. 

He can be more of an off-ball/undetected threat vs a non-stop primary ball-handler. 

That suits his game so much more & makes him a deadly weapon who will punish teams, for focusing on Palmer so much.

Think about the G/A explosion of players like Enzo last season + Xhaka (22/23). 

Simons is finally a player to really make the best of this role with serious goalscoring prowess. 

He should in theory register loads of G/A next season but let’s see.
