Yes, the company can liquidate the Bitcoin any second of any day whenever they want

Grayscale could not liquidate the Bitcoin held in the Trust at any point in time whether they wanted to or not

Which is why they didn’t.  Which is why there were lawsuits.  Which is why they filed to convert to an ETF.  Which is why they went into a massive discount

You buying a share of MSTR has absolutely nothing to do with the Bitcoin they hold.  Grayscale creating shares of GBTC to buy Bitcoin held in the Trust directly acquires Bitcoin by the Trust
