The United Nations’ 🇺🇳 top court said today in a landmark advisory opinion that countries failing to take measures to safeguard the planet from “climate change,” and any nation harmed by its impacts, could be in violation of international law.

Countries in violation would be required to pay reparations (i.e., steal money from taxpayers and shell it out to people who didn’t earn it). 💰

If there ever was a time for the U.S. to withdraw its membership from the United Nations, the time is now President @realDonaldTrump. 

Sen. @BasedMikeLee (R-UT) has introduced legislation called the Disengaging Entirely From the United Nations Debacle (DEFUND) Act of 2025 to terminate U.S. membership in and all funding to the United Nations and any of its affiliated bodies. 

Sen. @MarshaBlackburn (R-TN) is co-sponsoring the measure in the upper chamber. 

And, Rep. @ChipRoyTX (R-TX21) is poised to introduce the bill in the House of Representatives on Friday.
