Kaspa was being talked about over a year before launch. It has a discord with 100s of people in it at launch. (You can still go through the discord today and see the announcement of Kaspa launching) When it launched anyone could mine it competitively if they knew about it. It actually has a fairer launch than Bitcoin because when it launched crypto was so unknown you maybe had a 1000 miners in the first X years of Bitcoin. Within the first X months Kaspa gained potentially thousands of miners because it became GPU mineable about X month after launch and YouTube has a huge GPU mining community. X months were missing and I had no concerns. Now only XX% of that is missing and I still have no concerns. If this XX% is obtained and we now have XXX% you still canât even prove if anything malicious happened. What we can prove is that no malicious inflation occurred. So if something did happen ( nothing did) the malicious actors would only be able to work with the current supply available at the time and somehow get away with no one noticing their malicious behavior. To add the malicious actors would have had to have XXX% of all the nodes not just mining nodes.
