Malcolm-Jamal Warner Was Swimming With His 8-Year-Old Daughter When He Drowned 

Malcolm-Jamal Warner was reportedly swimming with his 8-year-old daughter when he accidentally drowned during their Costa Rica vacation.

Surfers jumped into action to save the “Cosby Show” actor and his daughter on Monday after they noticed the pair struggling against the current, per ABC News.

One surfer managed to save Warner’s daughter by bringing her back to safety on his surfboard. Warner was pulled back to shore by a volunteer lifeguard and another surfer before he was given XX minutes of CPR.

Prior to his death, Warner notably kept his daughter and his wife out of the spotlight. He did not publicly disclose his daughter’s name.
However, he did reveal his daughter’s birthday in an Instagram clip shared on May XX — months before his tragic passing.
