Despite earlier reports, Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba did not travel to Austin for MLS All-Star Week and won’t play in tonight’s MLS vs. Liga MX All-Star Game.

Should the rules be enforced, both would be suspended for a critical matchup vs FC Cincinnati.
