Yes of course poverty existed back then. Many people didn’t even have jobs or earn min income. Nobody’s going to argue that.

But one the whole, life was more affordable and better back then than today. Surely, anybody with a brain can agree to that. And anybody who doesn’t is lying or is ignorant.
