Another team leaning into the “CLOBs on BLOBs” design is RISE - a high-performance Ethereum L2 that uses @celestia for data availability.

RISE focuses on speed and throughput, targeting confirmation times as low as 1–3ms and aiming for 100K+ TPS - all while maintaining full EVM compatibility.

They’re also adopting based sequencing in the future to boost censorship resistance and liveness, and are exploring Solana-style shreds to enable continuous, low-latency execution.

RISE is building an environment to support apps that need real-time execution, including CLOBs like @nitro_dex.
