Fuel isn’t just building an Ethereum L2 - they’re also building an in-house CLOB, designed from the ground up.

“Ultimately, it makes the infrastructure better for everyone else. And now, thanks to that work, we’re confident we can write core order book logic in just ~200 lines of Sway.”

Fuel introduces its own VM (FuelVM) and language (Sway), while retaining EVM compatibility.

Their CLOB, O₂, is:
🔹 Privacy-enabled
🔹 Focused on spot (first)
🔹 Expanding to perps, lending & more high-performance use cases

A spot launch is targeted for September, with more updates coming throughout July & August.
