Noida International Airport has begun full scale terminal trials as part of its ORAT programme, marking a key step toward commercial launch. The trials involve coordination with airlines, ground handlers & regulators like DGCA, which began inspections in May 2025.

Airport faced delays due to material sourcing issues. Now expected to open with domestic operations first, IndiGo is expected to be the first airline to operate from the new airport.
