This art is a perfect example. This isn’t actually what Mega Dragonite is. The tail proportionally thins out and the pearl now looks good. The wings are spread out, upwards, and shaped like ears. They are also sharper than the official head wings. The little wings in the back are bigger here and the shoulder feathers are smaller, so that they look more proportionate and don’t clash with each other. The whole body is more proportionate in general, and it has the menacing no pupils(I doubt the official one would even temporarily do this). All of this to say, there are SO MANY great fanarts that make me think this design could be A-tier, but the actual in-game design isn’t that great IMO. This art is a perfect example. This isn’t actually what Mega Dragonite is.
