Promised "Patriot" systems for Ukraine will not arrive before spring 2026

"The Bundeswehr can deliver additional 'Patriot' systems from its inventory to Ukraine only if Germany immediately receives new systems from the United States," said German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

▪️According to German government sources, the first system will be available in at least eight months. Germany is then expected to receive a "Patriot" battery originally intended for Switzerland. Delivery of the other batteries would take even longer, reports "Spiegel."
