The Israeli Parliament (Knesset) voted XX to XX in favor of a motion calling for the annexation of the occupied West Bank, including the Jordan Valley.

 The vote is symbolic, but demonstrates a clear political will to impose Israeli sovereignty over the Palestinian territories.

This strong signal revives fears of a shift toward formal annexation.
