Respectfully- I don’t think your math is right here. 

If you invest any amount of money into any name, then the number of shares you own doesn’t matter. The percentage move is all that matters. 

Whether you own 10K shares at $X each, or X share at $10K each, your investment will move with the PERCENTAGE move of the stock. 

Share counts are irrelevant.
