@newstart_2024 Barry Marshall, Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, destroyed a $10B/yr pharma business when he showed that the bacterium H. pylori plays a major role in causing many peptic ulcers. Big Pharma tried to destroy him.  Sales were more important than cures.
