When I started studying $KAS, one key concept I had to grasp was the difference between Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake, crucial to understanding Kaspa’s edge.

PoW – Used by Bitcoin and Kaspa. 

▫️Secures the network with energy and computing power. 
▫️Miners solve math problems to validate blocks and be rewarded.
▫️Nearly impossible to control, since gaining majority validation power requires massive computational resources and energy, making it highly decentralized.

PoS – Used by Ethereum and others.

▫️Secures the network through coin ownership. 
▫️Validators are chosen by the amount of coins stacked and earn rewards.
▫️Wealth concentration can lead to centralization.

$KAS being Proof-of-Work is a major advantage compared to other protocols.
