The deafening silence from the West is nothing short of complicity. No sanctions, no real condemnation — just the usual hollow rhetoric. Yet, unilateral annexation of occupied territory is illegal under the Geneva Conventions and multiple UN resolutions. This move torpedoes any chance of a two-state solution and constitutes a clear violation of international law, in a context where the Palestinian people are already subjected to occupation, apartheid, and now deprived even of their minimal territorial foundation.
