So an American Fascism would not have some reason to call the Patriot George Farrugut “incompatible” with its own premises, right? If the idea that Fascism in America would have to discard the entirety of its own history & culture to import lederhosen & norse runes & hitlerian ariosophy seems a bit absurd to me. Americans cannot be fascists? Only europeans can be fascist? It just doesn’t make much sense.
