An unknown number of illegal miners in Jomera Region of the Democratic Republic of Congo trapped in an illegal underground mining shaft, after a landslide caved in the entire mine on Sunday. 

Miners and authorities are currently in a race against time, as rescue efforts continue, with twelve(12) miners currently safely pulled out of the rubble.
