Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson stated that Washington does not want to be further drawn into the conflict in Ukraine:

"This has been going on for too long. Too many innocent people are dying, and we do not want any further American involvement in this, but I believe what NATO and our allies around the world are doing can be effective. I think we have all had enough of this. Hopefully, it will end soon. We trust the Commander-in-Chief. He is restoring peace through strength".
