Magas references a political anarchists who damaged police cars (The judge said this is what she would call old school mischief [where property is damaged]) where they took the mischief to the next level which is much more serious in regards to the actions [and effects]. The defendant in this case participated in black bloc to remove security fencing separating what he said was elite politicians and everyone else. Magas argued it was political. It was much more severe mischief.
