Imo web3 games cater to much to bad gamers who hate losing to good gamers. They rather reward you if you can invest the most or farm the most over being the best. 

Web3 esports is the only way. Generate funds to reward the best players from skin and battle pass sales. 

Make a good game , people will buy dumb skins to stand out
