while ignoring the fact that their own institutions

failed to enforce the moral order 
they now preach.

You can’t tell men to follow rules
no one else is following.

You can’t shame men for adapting
in a world where structure no longer exists.

Average men didn’t break the system.

They’re just surviving after the ladder was pulled.

This isn’t a collapse of morality.

It’s the consequence of selective enforcement.
