US District Judge Henry Wingate BLOCKS Mississippi’s Ban on DEI programs in public schools and universities

House Bill 1193, would prohibit requiring diversity statements or DEI training in hiring, admission and employment processes at educational institutions.

Wingate claimed HB 1193 is having a negative impact because teachers have been instructed not to discuss “gender theory” or “systemic racism”
