STORAGE DEALS ... Former National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) managing director Imms Mulunga has ended his evidence in chief in a bail hearing in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court with an account about Namcor having bought bulk fuel storage facilities from the fuel company Engen in 2015, after the state-owned company won a tender to supply fuel to the Husab uranium mine. Mulunga gave the example in response to an allegation by the state that the fuel company Enercon Namibia sold service stations at nine Namibian Defence Force bases to Namcor for N$53.2 million in July 2022, whereas Enercon did not have the authority to sell such assets to Namcor.
