Blackburn, a Lancashire town, rose as a textile hub in the 18th-19th centuries, fuelled by cotton mills and weaving.
Its industrial peak saw rapid growth, but post-WWII decline hit hard.
Despite this rich English heritage, the town now looks like an Islamic caliphate!
