Tophaceous gout

Plain radiography showed substantial osteolysis of the distal phalanx and partial osteolysis of the medial phalanx (Panel B). 

Needle aspiration yielded a white viscous liquid, with numerous urate crystals identified on polarized light microscopy (Panel C).
