This morning, an Iranian Navy helicopter intercepted the USS Fitzgerald after the warship neared Iranian waters in the Persian Gulf. After warnings and threats from both sides, the destroyer changed course. Iran stated that it had coastal anti-ship missiles locked on the vessel.
