3/ How $DRIFT Benefits From BAM

Before BAM:

•While Drift maintained an on-chain order book, it couldn’t guarantee fair execution or achieve CEX-like speed because transaction sequencing was still controlled by validators.
• This made building a proper CLOB on Solana L1 nearly impossible without relying on off-chain infrastructure or L2 solutions.

Now, with BAM:

• Drift can run a proper on-chain CLOB and decide how orders are matched (e.g., price-time priority)
• Trades are protected from bots and front-runners
• Order cancels/updates are smooth and don't congest the network.
• Drift can earn fees from using custom plugins
