WTI crude fell below $65, down for the 4th day on inventory worries and trade jitters. API data showed a crude draw but higher distillates.

Gold eased to ~$3,420/oz as US trade deals reduced safe-haven demand. Optimism offsets lingering EU uncertainty.

Dollar index steady at XXXX after slide. US-Japan tariffs, China truce hopes, and Fed caution supported sentiment.
