$AER CEO talked about this in April:
- if US puts XX% tariffs on Airbus and the rest of the world retaliates with XX% tariffs on $BA, then:
- US becomes Boeing only, rest of the world Airbus
- "Without Europe and China, Boeing isn't viable business. They’ll either have to become nationalized or offshore production"
- "Aviation is one of the industries where the US has a massive trade surplus with both the EU and China (and the whole world)."

Boeing is too important to let it get crushed by tariffs => included in trade deals
