You are suggesting I believe murder is less of a sin than adultery. You miss the message. If God abandoned us every time we sinned a horrible sin we all would be lost.

You are not a Christian. If you understood the value of marriage to God you might understand. The bond between a man and woman represents the bond God has with us. We sin. But if we put our trust in God, in a marriage to Christ, God will conform us to the image of Christ. If we cheat and give ourselves to false gods He can't. If we cheat on our spouse we mock the marriage. You cheat on your spouse the person you vowed to love, then you will cheat everyone.

God desires us to keep our vows. Both to Him and our spouse. No this doesn't mean we can murder. That's silly.
