FLATPAK IS THE BEST PACKAGE FOR PRIVACY & SECURITY ON LINUX

If your distribution doesn't have it, install it:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alexlarsson/flatpak
sudo apt update
sudo apt install flatpak

Install desktop environment plugin:
sudo apt install flatpak-plugin-cinnamon
