Trump's last major announcement in support of Ukraine was just a nothingburger.

Ukraine won't receive the Patriot missiles announced by Trump until spring 2026, — Spiegel.

The US expects European allies to deliver Patriot missiles from their existing stocks and only then receive new systems from the American manufacturer RTX Corporation.

The problem is that the new batteries won't be available until spring 2026 – that's when, according to sources, Germany is supposed to receive the system originally intended for Switzerland.

Other partners, the publication notes, could wait even longer.
