The EU is a bunch of corrupt fraudsters.

The EU has already imported €1 billion worth of russian metal products.

In the period January to May 2025, the European Union purchased XXXX million tons of metallurgical raw materials worth €1.06 billion from the russian Federation. The GMK Center calculated this based on Eurostat data.

The largest imports were:
• Semi-finished products – XXXX million tons (€681.9 million),
• Pig iron – XXXXXXX tons (+68.5% by 2024).

The largest buyers of russian metal were Italy, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Latvia.

Despite the sanctions, the russian Federation continues to generate revenue from exports to the EU:
In 2024, the volume of sales of metal products reached €2.5 billion.

This indicates the low effectiveness of current restrictions and the existence of loopholes that allow Kremlin metal companies to remain on the European market.
