I was shown daily figures for a three month period which showed my follower count going up by about a thousand a day while my total kept dropping by a larger amount! I was assured that the attention of @X headquarters had been drawn to the problem. Clearly, two years later, the problem hasn’t been fixed. They seem to have other priorities.
