Cameroon striker Bryan Mbeumo has now become Africa's third most expensive Player, after joining Manchester United for £71 million.

Recently, the Red Devils finally brought an end to the long-running transfer saga involving the French-born attacker, with Mbeumo putting pen to paper on a five-year deal at Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old was in prolific form for Brentford last season, scoring XX goals and providing nine assists in all competitions.

Alongside fellow African star Yoane Wissa, Mbeumo played a crucial role in helping the London-based side achieve the club’s second-best finish in the Premier League, ending the season in 10th place.

Nigeria's Victor Osimhen and Cote d'Ivoire's Nicolas Pepe are the most expensive African Players with transfer fees of £72 million each.
