Tourist visas and direct flights are nice optics, but they don’t erase the wounds of Galwan or strategic distrust. China’s move to revive RIC is convenient diplomacy, but India must stay vigilant — softening ties can’t come at the cost of national security. Actions, not just gestures, will define the future.
