Netanyahu, a 1967 graduate, was inducted into the hall of fame in 1999 during his first term as prime minister. The student petition, representing roughly XX percent of the student body and submitted last month, cites Netanyahu's criminal indictment and the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ICC has accused him of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. "When students see these alumni on the wall of fame as we walk past every day, we understand that these are people we should look up to, and we strive to be like them one day," two of the petitioning students wrote. "As such, we feel it is not right for him to continue to be recognized in our school." #BenjaminNetanyahu #Israel #Philadelphia #US #CMO #HespressEng XX engagements **Related Topics** [netanyahu](/topic/netanyahu) [prime minister](/topic/prime-minister) [Post Link](https://x.com/HespressEnglish/status/1947971869040071054)
