X billion – zero arrests: Political scientist on the results of NABU's work.

"From 2015 to 2024, the state spent around X billion hryvnia on NABU. And the result? Not a single corrupt top official was arrested," writes political scientist Vitaliy Kulyk.

He explains that NABU was founded under pressure from the IMF, and later the office fought more for budgets and PR than for specific cases.

"The anti-corruption architecture has proven ineffective. Therefore, I don't see Law No. 12414 as a tragedy. There will be something else. Maybe even something better," concluded Kulyk.
