oh, looky here. One of the names on the wiretap list AG Clark denied Hoover was this Israeli diplomat Abba Eben. ChatGPT knows about Abba. He was doing very important covert work on Israel's nuke program in 1969, negotiating with Nixon on how to keep it all secret, how to cover up the NUMEC theft by Israel, and how to avoid Israel being forced to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Now this sounds downright conspiratorial. Why would Nixon's AG prevent Hoover from spying on one of the most important Israeli spies inside America? I wonder if any memos exist showing Nixon ordering Clark to "hands off Abba and Israel"? Why was Nixon helping the Israeli nuke program so much? I guess Trump and Nixon had even more in common than I realized. Not just surviving coups, but also being total puppets, embarassing shabbos, kowtowing to Israel First instead of America First.

I wonder if Hoover put the wiretap on Abba anyways, as he often did?
Unfortunately, there are no other files which mention Abba Eben, but it might be an interesting thread to pull.
