1969 MLK has been dead for almost X year. Nixon is sworn in. X days later, Hoover tells Sullivan to brief Nixon on the FBI's dirt on MLK, that he was a Communist, that he was a pervert sex fiend, that he was a drunkard, that he stole money from his churches. Damn, Hoover really hated MLK with a burning passion. I wonder if this became like a ritual for new Presidents. You are sworn in, the FBI tells you the most important threats to the Nation, but first, here's all the dirt on MLK, who's already dead.
