The Kusasi Chief in the Ashanti Region, Abdul-Malik Azenbe has reportedly been shot dead by unknown assailants at Kumasi, Asawase F-Line in the evening hours of Tuesday, July 22, 2025. 

According to eyewitnesses, the attackers were two individuals spotted on a motorcycle with one wielding an AK-47 rifle. 

The police have secured the area as investigations commence, with a manhunt currently underway for the unknown assailants.
